Kintsugi (golden joinery) is the Japanese art of repairing ceramics with resin, lacquer and golden dust.

During the volatile anagama (5 day) wood firing process, ceramic pieces often get damaged. Kintsugi offers an opportunity to save the item and celebrate the beauty of the fracture.
