A handmade mug in Beetle glaze as used at Inver Restaurant, Argyll.

Wheel-thrown using iron-rich Cornish stoneware clay with a traditional and comfortable hand-pulled handle.

All my glazes are hand-mixed in small batches from natural base ingredients. The glaze Beetle is my darkest glaze and has a satin finish. Inspired by a scarab beetle - is it black or darkest green?

Use: A big mug for tea, coffee and generous hot drinks.
