Location: Bude (Workspace, Bude Stratton Industrial Estate).

Join me in my professional studio, where we will cover all the steps of making ceramics on a potter’s wheel. This includes (but is not limited to!) clay preparation, throwing, turning and glazing. Everyone has their own wheel to use and hand-building and slab rolling facilities are also available.

Throughout the course I will explain the fundamentals of pottery. What you make depends on you and your preferences but bowls, mugs, jugs and vases are all good options. I work with each student to encourage their own skills and style.

All clay and glazes are provided. I provide carefully selected hand mixed glazes. Underglazes and slips are also available.

At the end of the course you can fire your favourite pieces for a small fee. Fired work is charged at £7 per 500g of finished weight.
